It's my BIRTHDAY shout HORRAY!!

Yes it is official. I am now on the downward slope to 30. I turned 26 yesterday and can I say that I am feeling the old age already! Just kidding. Okay so the soreness that I am feeling is due to my toning classes this last week and then an indoor soccer game as well. But I do feel like my body is going to break. I blame it on the birthday. It is crazy what one day can do to you! And I thought turning 25 was tough. Ha!
Anyways, Just to recap the events of my big 26th birthday.

A bunch of our friends and us went to La Mesa Restaurant for dinner on Friday night. It was also my good friend Jeannette Coles' birthday on the 2nd so we did a combo dinner party. It really was a lot of fun hanging out and of course eating Mexican Food.
The boys took the kids home and all us girls went to a movie! Yeah Girls Night Out!! A couple other girls met up with us there. But it was fun seeing a chick flick with 7 other girls. The movie we watched was "27 Dresses". It was super cute and witty. I would recommend watching it with some of your girlfriends. It was just a fun night out with the girls. I have wonderful friends out here. They gave me a gift card to the best store ever, BANANA REPUBLIC!! I love shopping. Thanks girls!!

Saturday was the big day, I guess. I did have to teach my toning class at 8:00 am. It was a fun but tough workout. It had to be tough, there was birthday cake in store for the night!
Later, our family went to an early dinner at the CHEESECAKE FACTORY....(angels singing "laaaaaaa")... and it really was heavenly. We had so much fun with just the 4 of us. Our kids were great and we laughed and talked and ate, it really was a fabulous birthday. Kyle even let me order a...if you can believe it...BROWNIE SUNDAE CHEESECAKE. Brownie crust, a layer of rich cheesecake, then topped with hot fudge with marshmallow swirl and loads of whip cream. They even personalized the plate and had a candle and sang, the whole shabang!! Oh my gosh, I LOVED it! Kyle really showed his true love for me because he even tasted it, brownie and all. For those that don't know, Kyle HATES chocolate, especially brownies. He said he almost threw up after the brownie bit, but heck I thought it was SOOO good!! And apparently Jantsen wasn't a big fan of the chocolate because he took his fork and started chiseling holes in the cheesecake layer. At the end all we were left with was the brownie and hot fudge parts. It was funny! Kambryn even had a taste of the whip cream and cheesecake. She was digging the whip cream, now to get her to like chocolate is the key! (It was necessary that I dedicate one whole paragraph describing in detail a cheesecake. You have to try it. It really was that good)
I had a soccer game later that night. First game of the session, no subs, playing the other best team, yeah I was DEAD after the first 5 minutes. We ended up losing the game 3-1 but I did score our only goal. WAHOO a birthday goal.
By the time I got home, I was beat but it was such a fun day!! Thanks to all my family and friends for the birthday wishes and cards from everyone. I am looking forward to what is in store for my 26th year. I want to live this year to the best, because I am only 26 once right?!

Janel! Every year I think your birthday is on a different day! I was thinking it was Wednesday! I am so sorry! I am a terrible sister-in-law. It sounds like you had a good day though and that is all that counts. And trust me it all goes down hill from here! Just kidding 30s are the best!
