Poor Kambryn!

Kambryn spent another 2 days at the hospital ER and the pediatrician's office. We still aren't sure what is going on with her digestive system. After another round of x-rays, ultrasounds, urine samples, and yes, a bowel sample, the doctor's aren't sure what is causing her to have air pockets in her intestines. They say it could be just the flu or else it is something else. But Kyle and I figure that since she is totally happy and pain free and pretty much back to her normal self, what is the use to keep putting my little 9 month old through all these exams. We do have one conclusion though, she has/had a urinary tract infection (which they were scared caused a kidney infection, luckily it didn't) So she is just on antibiotics and pretty much just getting back to normal. Here are a few pictures from her hospital visits.

Kambryn Jan 5 2008. Orem Community Hospital after getting her blood drawn and still prepped for an IV. She kept wanting to pull at the little blue thing. She is happy in this one but some of the other ones that I took, yeah not so much!

My mom took some pictures on her phone at the Utah Valley Hospital ER Jan 9 2008. My mom was so great this whole time! She was by my side and I appreciate it so much!

Kyle and Kambryn Jan. 20 2008 at Children's hospital. X-Ray on abdomen.

Children's Hospital in Omaha. Jan. 21 2008. Ultrasound on digestive system and kidneys.

There are also 2 days in there that she was at her pediatrician's office getting other tests and examinations done. What a month for her. She has been in and out of the doctor's office in these last 3 weeks then I have in my whole life I swear!! But for now, she is doing great!

Poor Little Thing!!! At least she looked adorable for the hospital visits! It is the worst when your baby is sick!! I would much rather be sick myself than watch my daughter suffer!

Yeah! I am so glad she is doing better! I hate seeing those pictures of her in a hospital bed! Yuck! Never again Kambryn! Even though she does still look adorable, seeing her in those hospital beds freaked me out!

I've been worried about Kambryn. I'm so happy to hear that she's doing better. I can't even imagine how hard this whole thing has been for you. Hopefully the worst is over and you can move forward. Call us when you have a free weekend. We'd love to hang out!

Janel, that makes me so sad to know that you have been having hard times, and I (being such a great friend and all) had no idea! I am so sorry that I haven't been calling or something! You are such a stud of a mom! I love your blogs and want you to teach me how. I am starting to try my own, but I have no idea what I am doing. LOVE YOU!!!!
