Kambryn admiring the snow blizzard outside.
Today I spent almost the whole day deep cleaning my house pretty much because today was freezing again. We were teased here in Omaha yesterday with weather in the 50'sF. It really felt like spring but then I had to pinch my arm and remind me that it was still only Jan. 28th and we still had the cold months ahead of us. So yesterday was 50F and all the kids were out in wagons and on bikes and playing, and then...Wham...today a measly 15F. Yes that is true, a drop of pretty much 35 degrees, and a snow-wind-tornado-blizzard -all in one- to top off the cold. So we stayed in side for the day.
My house was way past due for a cleaning. One thing that I have learned and now realize is that once I get a house of my own, I will have very minimal wood floors. For sure not in any bedroom or main rooms. I can not believe how much dust accumulates and really make little "bunnies". Jantsen helped me spray the pledge on all the furniture that needed dusting and then both Kambryn and him ran to get out of the way of the vacuum. I love that kids can make a game out of pretty much anything, even house cleaning.
It is nice to have the whole house straightened and cleaned. I feel that I am so much more relaxed and calm and patient when I have my "sanctuary" (home) clean!
Here are just some fun pictures of the kids.
This picture is Jantsen talking, actually telling "Why did the chicken cross the road" jokes with Curtis over the phone. It was a really funny conversation to listen to.
I have been wanting to post Kambryn's "bitter beer" face that she does daily! It is kind of a combo of bitter beer face and a toothless old woman face. This picture is just the beginning look. I am going to have to try to get a picture of the full facial expression, because it really is funny looking.

Sometimes I am in the worst mood and it takes me the longest time to realize it's mostly because my house is a disaster. I feel SO much better when it is clean...so I totally understand!
I love Kambryn's face....It's classic. I would love to see the full out "bitter beer" face if you can catch it! She is such a cute little girl!
