*Flashback* You and Me goin' fishin' in the dark

SO the reason for this post is: 1-because it was the first time we took Jantsen fishing but 2-mainly because it was in the summer time and today I am TOTALLY craving the summer heat!! And this day fishing was SO beautiful and hot with no humidity, just absolutely wonderful! It was back in June 2007 just before we came out to Omaha for Law School.
Well this was in Utah up the Provo Canyon at Vivian Park. Each year the Fish and Wildlife people load the pond full of fish and then let kids 12 and younger fish for free. (as you can see Jantsen is our free 12 and younger...of course he HAD to be supervised by me, Kyle, my dad, Curtis, Dustin, Natalie) Yes one kid (well and newborn Kamrbyn) and 6 adults fishing for free. My dad even took of the afternoon to take his grandson fishing, we packed a lunch and hung out for the afternoon casting our rods. Oh how I miss Utah and being with family. It was a great day! (have I said that enough yet?)We made a lot of fun memories within the span of 3 hours of fishing. It wasn't only Jantsen's first time fishing, it was also the first time that my dad actually has caught a fish ever (my grandpa Graham -a.k.a 'pro-fisher'- should be proud of that), the first time Dustin and Kyle actually casted the fishing pole and then had to "fish" the rod out of the pond (haha), oh it is always an adventure when you add Curtis, Dustin, Natalie and my dad into the mix of things.

Well I am so ready for summertime, filled with fireworks, fishing, the sun, laying out, bike rides, vacations, swimming...hmm thinking about this stuff makes me warm! Just a few more months!
