Update of the last couple of weeks

Well I am finally giving my neglected blog sometime. Here are some events that went on in these last few weeks since we have been in Utah. (It is going to be a long blog with lots of pictures. Yea for updates!)

SATURDAY JUNE 28TH HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMERSON!

My little niece Emerson turned 1 on June 27th. She is so adorable and such a blessing in her family's lives and brings so much happiness, joy and love to everyone around her. She has such a strong and outgoing personality (something she definitely got from her mom Kristen!). She is such a beautiful little girl and I love that Kambryn and her are only about 3 months apart. Kristen and Jeremy threw a b-day pool/BBQ bash for her on Sat. the 28th and it was fun to surprise Kyle's mom that we were in Utah. She did a double take when she saw Jantsen crawl up the ladder right next to her. It was a fun day and we just love Eme so much and wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday!MONDAY JUNE 30TH WALL-E and CAMPING!!!
We went to the movie Wall-E with Curt and Natalie on Monday. What a cute movie. We loved it and couldn't get enough of eachother trying to impersonate Wall-E when he would say "Eeevvv-a" and trying to say "Wall-E" the way he does. It was fun and we really enjoyed the humor and cute "romance" between the 2 adorable robots! ha.
Monday night we went with Kristen and Jeremy up the Provo Canyon to go camping. I have been wanting to go camping FOREVER and so we totally jumped at the invitation to join them. We went to Camp Hope which is up by squaw peak. Our little campground was just great for our two families. Here are some of the fun things that happened:

1. Kambryn fell within the first 10 minutes of being there. She actually fell and hit her head on a rock and scraped up her face. So here are her battle wounds. Eme, Jantsen and her were as dirty as ever but had alot of fun playing together in the back of Grandpa Graham's truck.


2. A deer decided to wander close to our tents. Jantsen was walking up to our tent to tell me something, when he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks and was like "psst...mom there is a deer right there." So I looked out the tent and there was a deer just eating some grass. Jantsen was really proud of himself for being the first one to see it.3. Going on walks/small hikes and taking pictures on a big rock. I know it doesn't sound that exciting but really it was fun. I love just being in the mountains and having nothing really to worry about but just enjoying the quietness and how gorgeous nature is! LOVE IT!


4. Hanging around at the campfire while roasting marshmallows and starbursts and eating chewy, yummy smores! I think Jeremy's new addiction is the coconut marshmallows. But I agree with him, they are GOOD! Jantsen just liked roasting the marshmallows and not eating them, and Kyle isn't a big dessert fan, and well Kambyrn didn't like them, and so that left me to eat our families share of the smores and starburst. I think I made our family proud for how much I ate. But they are just that GOOD!!5. Driving to squaw peak to get Kambryn to fall asleep and let Jantsen look at the beautiful Utah Valley at night! Jantsen was amazed at how many stars he could see too.I still have some more updating to do. I will have to post about the 4th of July and then swim lessons. And Kambryn's first haircut and swimming ...wow lots of things going on.
