The rest of the week (Wednesday-Saturday) consisted of a lot of hanging out in Park City.
Kyle and I took the kids out one morning to a Park that Kyle use to play at when he was a kid and would visit his grandparents in Park City. His Grandma and Grandpa Smith lived in a little house right next to the Park City Fire Station and it is still there. Look at this cute little house (we were sure it had been remodled and painted but still just a cute house in the cute town of Park City).
Of course Jantsen and Kambryn had a blast at the park. It is funny how different they are and how they different things at a park. Jantsen was all about digging in the dirt with a digging contraption and climbing on the net, the rock climbing wall, and all over the playground. He likes to be meticulous and can focus in on something to try and figure out how it works. He doesn't like the swings and never has and got bored with the slides. But then Kambryn would be content swinging the whole time if we would let her. She liked going up the steps and sliding down the slide over and over again. She didn't like being in the sand or trying to climb up something. I don't think she enjoys the stuff that takes time and work. She likes the immediate enjoyment.
Jantsen 4 years old
Kambryn 18 months
The end of the outing at the park I wanted to get a family picture and so we were able to set up the camera timer and sit on a bench. This is how the 20 minutes went with trying to get a decent family photo.

Jantsen upset because he didn't want to take a picture on the bench, well didn't want to take a picture period. (oh almost a happy family)
Janel playing with the self timer capturing this picture of Jantsen getting talked to from Kyle about being a good boy and obedience.

Oh it was so close, if only it wasn't off-centered.
Alas...A decent family picture at a random park in Park City Utah.

I love all the attempted family pics! Stinkin funny. That house is adorable too. Good old Gma and Gpa Smith.
That's a lot of work for a family picture but it turned out good on the fourth try. Looks like a fun day at the park!
