My mom was able to come out on Jan. 19th and stay for a week until Jan. 26th. I absolutely LOVED having my mom here! There is something about having a baby and then needing to have your mom around. I was so glad she came! I think she loved it too.
She is usually so busy with teaching and primary stuff that it was fun just to relax and hang out. She was able to just be a grandma for a week. No dishes or cooking for her, just a lot of reading books, holding a sleeping baby, doing homework with Jantsen, going to the zoo, dance class, and music time, watching the Princess and the Frog, losing my phone at Walmart, Jantsen with the flu and Kambryn with croup, sleeping in, lounging in our pajamas all day, shopping, and lots of laughing and talking, and alittle happy crying in there occasionally too. I am so blessed to have such an amazing mom who I love spending time with! I think I would have gone crazy without my mom being here. She helped me out so much. She has always been the best example to me on patience and love, and I am so grateful for her! Thanks for coming out mom! You really are the best!
We also celebrated our birthdays with some cupcakes. Happy Birthday Mom! I am so glad you came out. I wish you could have stayed for a month...or else we lived closer. Whichever works! I love you!
Talan's 2 week appointment

He did great at the appointment and is growing really well. He is just a perfect little guy!
I had Kambryn checked out by Dr. Fran and turns out she has croup. Jantsen just was getting over with having the stomach flu and now Kambryn has croup. Good thing my mom was here!

Your Mom is so cute! Man, you would never guess that you all are related, huh?! You look just like your Mom and your kids look just like you! So cute! The Smith genes have nothing on those Graham eyes! So pretty!
He is such a cutie. I'm glad that you could have your Mom around after having Talan. Moms really are so amazing at knowing just what you need. The two of you are so cute together.
Oh I love Talan's hair! I hope my baby has long hair like that. How fun! Looks like you've had a great couple weeks with you mom & MIL there. I'm sure they were tons of help and lots of fun to have around.

Who does Talan look like??? i can't see him in the other kids! LOVE that you measured his hair.. so funny. we CAN NOT wait until you guys come in a few short weeks. Parker is excited and keeps talking about when Jantsen comes to utah. let us know your plans so we can come visit lots!
