Not ready for this yet!

Jantsen came home from school with his first love letter from a girl. And I totally had an "nosey mom" moment! I saw a note in his backpack, so instead of letting him show me, what did I do? Oh I opened it right up as fast as I could and read it. (When I read it I had to laugh a little. So cute and so innocent!) But still I had this over-bearing mother moment where I needed to know! I can only imagine how awful I am going to be as he gets older. I need to already start preparing myself for being kept in the dark about some things. But he is my little boy, I want to know everything that was said, and how it made him feel and if he likes her or do girls still have cooties. Aah...one day I am not going to be able to know everything!

Well for now I guess I can handle little love notes as long as he understands that his mom, (ME) is the #1 girl in his life right now! and that won't change for a LONG time!

Oh my goodness that is so cute! You'd better get used to this Janel...I have a feeling he's going to be getting a lot of love letters when he's older!

Oh no!! Who is it from?? Kael has gotten two of them. One was from Zoey Peterson so I think it was more of a little friend thing, but I'm not so sure about the other one! :)

Good luck with that one. We are having the same problem with Carter. I guess thats what happens when your little boys are the cutest.

too cute. I know Tawni because she married my brother's best friend from high school. how do you know her? I would say the van is great when you have little kids so they can get in themselves and I like the doors opening so wide...
