Jantsen has been quite the little reader lately. He is reading pretty well now which makes mine and Kyle's job as parents a lot easier. I am starting to appreciate what it is going to be like to have an older child to do more grown up things...babysitting, reading, chores, dishes, mowing lawns, washing the car... Well for now I can be excited that he can read stories to my other kids. He does help with the dishes and takes out the garbage. That is nice!
(He did say that he wants to start babysitting Talan. He wants Kyle and I to go outside our front door for awhile and see how he does babysitting by himself. If there were only a nice movie theater or restaurant right outside of our home, we would be set.)
Kyle put Talan up on Jantsen's bunk bed a few mornings ago. He spent about an hour up there with Jantsen, staring at him while Jants read all his dinosaur books to him. I just love these videos. Jantsen is such a great older brother. Kambryn and Talan are so blessed to have him as their older brother. I just love him!
This last video was taken one day when we went to get Kyle from work. Jantsen was reading to Kambryn the whole drive, but I couldn't record any of it until we got to Kyle's work. By that time we got there, it wasn't the best of him reading. Before, he was reading each page and showing each picture to Kambryn. Kambryn was really interested in the story too. Too cute!

it is fun having a child get old enough to help out more and BABYSIT!! i just read allie's blog... i hope the cold isn't making you and your kids go crazy! ha ha hah a

Oh my gosh that is so cute! What a good brother he is. Maybe you could watch a movie on a laptop out front. That would be such a good get away! Your kids are darling and I can't wait to see you guys soon!
What a cute older brother. I feel the same way about Carter. As we speak Carter is drawng a picture of Mickey Mouse for Park to color. What good boys we have. Your kids are so cute.
jantsen can read!?? it has been way too long since we've seen you guys, and talan isn't even a "newborn" anymore! these next few weeks better FLY by! Ahh..we can't wait!
that is awesome that he can do that, he is such a great kid. oh and cute pictures with your dad too, what a fun few weeks you guys had!

seriously, isn't it the best. kylee is such a big helper. that is so cute that he is just laying in the crib with him. talan is so cute, i feel like he is pretty graham, what do you think? Love you girl, see you in march right?
