Can I just tell you how much I love the dry heat! It was in the 90's today and I LOVED it! No humidity, no sticky-ness, no sweating, shade actually provided relief, and it was amazing!
Kristen and her kids, Curtis, my kids and I spent the whole day at my grandma's pool today. I just love my grandparents so much! And they are so cute too! (that isn't my grandpa in the picture of course, but it is my cute brother with my cuter grandma!)
I was surprised my kids lasted as long as they did. It might have something to do with having the pool to ourselves for most of the time. Both kids were little fish out there too. Kam still uses her floaties but she was jumping in and doing cannon balls at the end of the day.
Jantsen started swimming by himself too...well he already knew how to swim but it was usually chaos swimming, legs and arms and water going every where. But he was actually under control and not wasting all his energy flailing his body around.
I was so glad that Curt came. My kids absolutely adore him! And he is such a cool kid and so fun to be around.
Talan loves the bath so I knew he would love the pool. He looked like such a big boy in his little baby floater thing. He was in heaven being in there, well once I figured out how to keep him from going under.
At first I thought he was too small for the thing, and then I thought maybe he is too fat and is sinking. But then I figured out that needed to blow up the 2nd air tube. Go figure.
But I can't believe he is already 6 months old. I love this kid!
We had a great and hot and long day at the pool but that is what summer is all about. I love summer in Utah!

I'm so sad I couldn't make it today. I have been too darn busy this month to enjoy a lot of summer time activities!
Man look how quick you are with the post! Good job! Thanks again for inviting us! It was so fun! Sorry we didn't stay longer but it is a good thing we left when we did cause I got fried on my shoulders! Ouch!
Look at how adorable you guys are! I love the dry heat too! You can't really appreciate that good dry heat until you have lived in Omaha:)
Oh man what I would give to be in the dry heat!!! We miss you guys here but glad you guys are doing well!! Are you still planning on doing logan marathon?

I also love the dry heat. Brent and I went to a 9:00 showing last night of Eclipse and the theatre was a little on the cool side. When we walked out it was still 90 degrees at 11:00p.m., I said to him "this is why I love St. George"! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun.
