(edit: I started writing this post on Sunday January 23rd. But things got even crazier starting that day and going for the rest of the week that I am finally finishing this post...about 10 days later. What a whirl wind of a month of January has been.)
Things have been crazy around the house the last week. It was the week of my little brother's wedding and so everything has revolved around the big day. But the weekend was completely perfect and everything was a success. What a beautiful couple and they are so happy!

This is what the week looked like for leading up to their wedding...
Wednesday 1/19- Throwing a Bridal Shower for Jen. It was a fun party and I am glad our side of the family (aunts, cousins..) were able to meet and get to know Jen. I kind of waited until the last minute to do everything so Mon-Wed were crazy getting it ready. And it was also my 29th Birthday too...yay!
Thursday 1/20- Jen went through the temple. It was such a wonderful session. I leaned over to my mom before the session and made the comment that this is the first time that all her kids have been in the temple together. What a wonderful feeling. Kyle also flew in later this night and it was nice to have him here...like it always is! It was also my mom's birthday. Talk about an already busy 2 days! (Waiting outside the temple. Talan was down at Grandma Nana's...sleeping for hours!!)
Friday 1/21- Wedding Day! They were married in the beautiful Draper Temple. It was such a gorgeous, sunny, winter day. Kambryn has been so excited for Jen and Dustin to get married. She was so sad (that is an understatement)...she was heart broken when Kyle told her she couldn't go into the temple. She said she would be really quiet! So cute! But she brought her wedding barbie up to the temple and couldn't wait to see Jen in her dress and show Jen her barbie.
Jantsen was happy just playing with his cousin Parker. The whole wedding thing I guess is a "girl thing" and not so much for a 6 year old boy.
More pictures of the wedding day....
We went down to Tucanos for the luncheon after the wedding. Love that place. Good food, lots of fun people to talk to, and just a great time to celebrate Dustin and Jen. Jantsen even loved all the meat.
Saturday 1/22- Reception Day! What a gorgeous reception/Party that we had. It was crazy (like always) in the hours of getting ready and leading up to the reception and pictures. But the whole evening was fabulous.
Well the whole weekend was just great. Funny how things leading up to a wedding are crazy and hectic and stressful, but they are over so quickly. I am so happy for Dustin and Jen. They make such a great couple.
