Talan

Last week I finally made an appointment for Talan's 18 month check-up (he is almost 21 months).

Good thing he brought that baseball with him. That was the only thing that kept his attention away from the shots.  3 shots, a little crying, given the baseball and a sticker and he was all good.  

But here is our little monster

Height 34 inches (73%)

Weight 26.8 lbs (46%)

I think he has only gained a pound in the last few 6 months. But he also a whole lot busier too. 

And has also perfected his running ability. He runs a little more "naturally".  I wish I would have

recorded how he use to run, too funny.

Right now Talan:

*loves to copy Jantsen in everything

*is really good at kicking a ball...I think he could play on Kambryn's little soccer team

*is talking a LOT! 

*LOVES to get his groove on to any music.  Somehow Pitbull has become his favorite though

*is the most polite little boy ever.  He says "Sorry" to everything, even if you run into him

*Loves hot dogs, strawberries, goldfish, and cookies...and that's about it. Oh and Pizza and Costco muffins.

*has to have a fork in his hand anytime he eats

*Loves Spiderman and "guys" (action figures)

*likes trains and cars
*enjoys playing a little dress-up and dolls with Kambryn.
(princess shoes and necklaces and strollers...but still holding his Spiderman in his hand)

*LOVES motorcycles ("cycles...vroom")

*loves to be outside

*will find dirt, mud or a puddle to play and sit in within seconds of being outside

*makes the biggest mess in the playroom. (dumps out every bucket of toys and walks on the buckets)

*is my most mischievous child.  (Completely empties a full tissue box, shreds the tissues, but then puts them back in the box.)

*has the cutest and most charming personality of any kid I know!

We have been busy going to Jantsen and Kambryn's soccer games and practices. Talan loves to cheer them on and yell Go Go Go and clap his hands and get into the games.

He keeps us on our toes but we love this little dude so much!
