About 5 minutes after I realized that he was still taking pictures and also realizing that the little "click" sound I was hearing in the background about every second was the shutter from our camera. About 70 frames later, these are some of the things Jantsen took a picture of.
Of course, His own Water Bottle, his toy Cars, his Hand (very intrigued with this one), and his alphabet Magnets, what else is really important to a 3 year old.
He really was having a great time and wanted to take more. Trying to make it at least productive while keeping him occupied, I told him to go into the kitchen and take some pictures of his favorite food. Keep in mind Jantsen thought of these all himself, took them himself and then came and showed me after he was done. No cropping or adjustments were done to these pictures. They are the originals!
Anyone that knows Jantsen-He has ALWAYS loved cheese, so what else would you expect, the shredded cheese on the shelf.
And those are really his favorite foods. Add Cinnamon Toast Crunch and you have Jantsen's basic daily intake.
So then I tried to keep him busy and told him to think of his favorite color and find things that are that color. He found these 3 things. 1. His blue stool 2. A blue Magnet ("D for Dylan") and 3. "I found a blue bucket" -He was excited for this one! He LOVES blue!
I really do think some of these pictures are pretty good for a 3 year old. For those that have taken Photo 1, framing, rules of thirds, lines, you name it-he has it. I think we have a photographer prodigy on our hands!

This is the cutest post ever. I think that you should send these in to Ellen when she does her child prodigy show! He is so darling!
Same to you! It's still fun to look at people's pictures. Even if we do so them! Yeah, it would be fun for Tanner to come and play. I don't take him anywhere now that it's cold. I just need to suck it up! Anyhow... hope your little doll gets feeling better. I feel so bad for you guys, especially her!
I love that you put things like this on your blog. It makes me feel like we are not missing out on everything. Looks like Jants might have a thing for photography! Love you guys!
That is a cute post. I love their little imaginations! Sadie has done the same thing...but I never thought to post them. You are so creative.
