Martina McBride Concert...SO GOOD!

Tonight Kyle took me to the Martina McBride concert! and all I can say is that I had so much fun. She is so talented and we just really had the best time, eventhough I swear the average age of the audience was probably 47 years old (which means most of them were sitting the whole time) But Kyle and I were standing and rocking out. Martina McBride is so gorgeous and an amazing singer and I have loved her music for so long and I am so glad that I was able to go to her concert. It was even better than I even expected.

A new band called "My Lady Antabellum" opened the show. They were really pretty good (only singing 6 songs) Kyle loved them!

Jack Ingram sang next and he is total rock country. I do love his song "Lips of An Angel". Here is a little clip of that song for those that want to listen!

When Martina came out the audience went crazy. She is a great entertainer. And almost the best part was after her show, everyone was banging their chairs and screaming and cheering, waiting for an encore. And she came back out and kept singing. But the best part was that she sang a Journey song "Don't stop Believing" and then Pat Bednar "Hit me with your best shot". Yeah she totally sang those classic songs and it was probably the coolest thing I have ever heard! Oh my goodness, it was so awesome! (As you can tell I just got home like 30 minutes ago and so I am still so excited about the whole night).

Our friends Joel and Maranda Taylor watched the little rugrats for the night. Thanks so much you guys! You both are so great!! It was nice to get out with just Kyle. But I am sure the kids didn't mind us leaving too much because the Taylor's just got a cute little dog named Valie and so that kept them entertained. We got some cute pictures and video of the kids playing with Valie, actually Kambryn's play involves swinging her arms at the puppyor else trying to kick her, but Valie loves to give Kambryn puppy kisses so Kambryn is just fending her off. (sorry the video is sideways, but it is pretty funny, Kambryn might be the dominant soccer player in the family)

Sorry it is so dark, I don't know how to lighten it up. Sorry! but she is just swinging her foot the whole time! Maybe we really shouldn't get a dog now that I see how Kambryn really feels.
