Today Kambryn took her first steps, seriously just out of the blue!! Lately she has really loved holding onto my fingers and walking with me but she really has shown no interest in walking by herself or even standing for that matter. Why, to her crawling is fast enough and she is totally cruising at it, so it makes sense. But oh no, she was going crazy trying to walk. She would pull herself up on the couch, do a 180 turn and let go and attempt the walk and just dive bomb it. Kyle and I just stood back letting her do it all by herself, she is such a determined little girl. Well after a few tries, she got the concept that if she picked up her feet instead of just falling flat over then she could actually get somewhere. So there she went. She took about 3 steps and then her momentum made her fall anyways, but she got up with the biggest grin on her face. Oh she knew exactly what she accomplished, and of course wanted to keep doing it. There was even one time that she took a step, stopped and balanced and then tried to continue and fell over. But we are so proud.Funny thing is that just today one of our friends asked Kyle at church if he thought that Kambryn would walk before her birthday (which is April 5th) and Kyle was like "Yeah I doubt it. She is too content with just crawling." But low and behold she pulled the walking out of the blue and went for it today! Of course I didn't have my camera or camcorder next to me so I didn't catch any of the actions, but I will try to keep it close for these spontaneous milestones that happen.

I can't believe she is taking her first steps! Crazy! Eme hasn't even gotten the crawling thing down yet but I don't care. I want her to stay this age forever! It is so fun! Lov ya!

We will be back thurs. the 6th at night but Lexi wont go to school the next day because she has her semi-anual cleft palate clinic where she sees a bunch of docs all in one morning. That is on friday the 7th. so she wont be back to school till monday. HOw is car pool working out?

I think this is the longest you have gone without posting something. You get me all addicted and then you stop? You know I just have to tease you cause you were given me grief! Hope you guys are doing good!
