It was a hectic but fun first game. Once all the parents and camera's and first time excitement kindof settled down, and the kids got their uniforms, it was actually pretty entertaining to see our little team score some goals! I am happy to say that Jantsen had the first goal of the game on a break-away. He ran right by everyone and dribbled it to the goal and shot it in! We were so proud. Unfortunately with me coaching, I wasn't running the camera and so we didn't get it recorded. Kyle did his best dealing with Kambryn and the camera and cheering all at once. Multi-tasking is a mom thing I think! But anyways, Jantsen is alittle stud out there. I am kindof amazed how fast my little guy is. And of course he just looks so cute in his whole soccer attire!
Way to go Jantsen. Mom and Dad are so proud of you! We all know this is just the beginning of his career! Our little up and coming super soccer star!
This little video is of Jantsen throwing in the ball. It is really the only good video part we have of Jantsen and the game. Unfortunately he throws the ball towards the wrong goal. Good thing the other team didn't score. He knows how to recover on defense quickly! But it sure was a heck of a throw-in!
(side note: watch Lexi run over to Jantsen, do alittle hop and then run back in a huge arc to the goal. That was the area I was trying to get Jantsen to throw the ball to. She would have been totally ready! So cute Dana! Also, at the end of the video you will see the swarm of parents and their cameras, on the field, following and trying to capture the perfect shot of their cute little soccer stars! Kindof funny huh!)

Jansten really was a star out there! It was fun...too bad we couldn't all be on the same team...we could really use a super star like Jansten on our side!
Fun! Jantsen is makin' the fam proud. I should put Ava in soccer, you know, with her purple soccer ball and all.
This is one of the things that makes me sad that you guys don't live here! Keep posted video so it seems like we aren't missing out!

you are such a cute mom! You are always are doing something fun with your kids. I love looking at your blog and am so happy you stopped by my modbe party the other day. It was good to see you guys. I totally should have lived at the Village...that was more girls than I've seen at one time since I moved to Omaha three years ago! I don't know ONE of my neighbors!
Your kids are so darling...I would love to use them as subjects sometime to take pictures. I am trying to practice up and get into photography. I have been taking shots of a few friends kids and made appointments with a few others...if you ever are interested give me a call. I took my jaxson to Elmwood park tonight for a photoshoot or in other words...MY PRACTICE TIME...and there were the most beautiful backdrops. I will be posting them soon. Make sure to tell me what you think!
Jantsen is totally following in your footsteps....he'll be the best soccer player out there, oh wait he already is! :) That was a fun night. It was fun to watch all the kidos run around and chase the ball.
Oh my word! How fun. I can't wait to get my kids into soccer! I want to carry on a tradition too (even though my family wasn't nearly as crazy as your family with the whole soccer thing) Love it Janel!
That is so cute! What a cute little soccer team you have! It sounds like Jantsen is quite the little soccer player!:) Oh- - could you e-mail me your address so that I can send you an invitation to the graduation party I'm throwing. brittanynielson@hotmail.com
