What is New in Omaha?

After we got back from Florida, our little complex we live in, Village Green, seemed so empty. Graduation came and many friends moved away or else left for the summer and so it is definitely a different atmosphere here at The Green. Jantsen and I lost some pretty close friends. Jantsen had a hard time understanding why he was going to preschool and that Lexi and Dylan wouldn't be there. I told them that they moved and they go to a different preschool in Memphis and Arizona. So with his graduation coming up, he now thinks that he will leave this preschool and be able to go to Memphis preschool. He thinks that the elementary school by our house is called Memphis school and that is where him and Dylan and Lexi will be back together. It really is sad and we just keep trying to explain that they live a long ways away. Today his comment was that he wants to move now, and his choice is Utah. Since Dylan and Lexi were able to move, why shouldn't he be able to go somewhere fun too...?!

Him and Kambryn have had to play alot together this last week, but he likes that she is walking now and they have a fun time together. It is sad to loose close friends, but we are still having fun here in Omaha and loving it.

I have alot of pictures I want to post and so here it goes. Oh and yesterday I found that Jantsen or Kambryn broke my new camera, totally shattered the display screen. So I am on hold with pictures right now. Except I am going to use my OLD camera for Jantsen's graduation tomorrow. But now I get an excuse to maybe get a nice big camera, yeah right, I can wish. Well here are some pics.

These pictures were taken by Kara, isn't she just awesome! Thanks so much Kara. These are Kambryn's 1 year pictures and I thought they turned out so cute! We had fun trying to keep her tongue in her mouth and runny nose wiped while getting her to smile and look at the camera! Just adorable I thought!!

TUTUS and BIG FLOWERS!!! YEAH! How can it get any cuter? Kristen said it best about these pictures by saying "Isn't it fun being a girl?!" We made these tutus for the girls and decided to take their pictures for Mother's Day for Evelyn. It was so much fun being all girly with them this day! Kara again did a fabulous job with the camera and the editing! Emerson and Kambryn are only about 3 months apart and they are going to be Best Friends and Cousins Forever...B.F.A.C.F. haha. Anyways, now I just have to think of another time that Kambryn can wear this cute tutu...maybe I will just throw it on her one day.

The other day Jantsen was being alittle rebellious. Okay actually he was totally defiant to me, intentionally looking right at me as I tell him not to climb up the slide and still climbs the slide. I told him to put the other kids chalk down, what does he do, looks right at me and slings it across the playground. That was only a few examples of the afternoon. So after the last straw I put him on the stairs in timeout. He was just bawling and crying saying that he thought it was so mean of me to put him on the stairs. Well not even 5 minutes later...this is how we found him. He was still sniffling and whimpering in his sleep. The funny thing is that when he woke up, 30-40 minutes later but still sooner than he wanted to, the first words (while crying again) that came out of his mouth was "Mommy I didn't want you to put me in timeout." Oh when Jantsen gets tired not only is everything leading to the end of his world and a meltdown, but he also gets really defiant and down right naughty! But I love him to death anyways. He did stop right in the middle of eating his spaghetti and bread sticks to say this "Mom, thank you so much for making this good dinner tonight" in a totally sappy but serious voice. It was great!

That is really sad that Jantsens friends are gone! I hope he will make some new ones there at The Green when all the new couples move in. Oh and - - I love the pink tutus!! Those are way cute pics!

First of all, I watched that slide show of Disney, and I want to go SOOOOOO bad! That looked like so much fun! Second, poor Jantsen, loosing his best friends, that makes me sad as a mom to think about how sad Kylee would be, and how hard explaining it would be. Third, I am glad that my kids aren't the only ones that are totally disobedient, not only totally disobedient, but looking right at me doing the complete opposite! That makes me feel a little bit better. Fourth, I LOVE your family picture at the top, I love how Jantsen is laying on Kyle. So cute! Okay, I think that is a long enough comment! Sorry! Love ya!
