It was a toss-up for what Jantsen liked the most, the train ride or riding on the cheetah.
Here are some things that we have been up to this last week. We sent Dustin a package for his birthday. Happy Birthday Dustin. We just love him! Kyle is busy getting ready for summer school finals in a few weeks and so the kids and I have been trying to stay busy with the free memberships we have at the fun things here in Omaha: The museum and The Zoo. We have also just been spending a lot of time outside with all the FUN friends we have here! I love the weather and it brings everyone out of our houses and we all get to know eachother so much more and I absolutely am loving it.
Our future mutton-buster! Ride 'em Jantsen!
Despite the great weather during the day, we have had alot of Tornado Watches and Warnings and severe weather warnings, etc...for the past week, but regardless of all the warnings, nothing has really come our way. There was one night that I did get alittle scared and started getting things ready to take into our basement just in case we had to gather the family and head down there. But the storm shifted it's course and went south and we barely got any rain. But the thunderstorms are sure amazing out here. I guess I can't go so far by saying I wish a tornado or bad storm would come through, but still alittle part of me would like to see what it would really be like to hear the sirens and head into the basement for protection. But then I think about it again and I am glad we are safe and we haven't had to worry about things being destroyed around us.

Isn't it weird to have to worry about tornadoes now? I have heard the LOUDEST THUNDERSTORMS ever out here. It's crazy. By the way, I loved the ideas you told me on my blog. Exactly what I wanted. That yarn one is right up Natalie's alley! Thank you!!!
Jaaaaanel! How the heck are ya? Found you through Buffy. Your kids are seriously adorable.. they look exactly like you! Did I ever tell you Ty served his mission in Omaha? Anyway, I will continue to check up on you!
thanks for kicking my butt on thursday night & saturday!! What would i do without you, Janel?!
seriously...thanks so much for sharing your talents and helping us all get in shape. It is such a blessing! it really is..
Looks like tons of fun. I keep trying to let my kids ride the carousel at the zoo but it is always closed when we go!
The merry go round looks so fun! I wish we were there to join you guys. Lexi always talks about "when her friends come" so you guys really need to take a trip down and visit maybe when its freezing there and you need to thaw out!
Sounds like there's tons of fun stuff to do in Omaha! I never would have guessed it from our tournament trip there for soccer. Your kids are the cutest!
I'm sure you're glad now that your wish didn't come true huh?:) I'm glad you guys are enjoying Omaha! We loved it there and we really do miss it!
