We reached the 6 year mark

Today is our anniversary! 6 years ago Kyle and I were in the Timpanogos temple getting ready to be married. What a day! We had a great temple sealing performed by his grandpa, took lots of pictures with our hundreds of guests, ate a delicious lunch at the Brazilian restaurant Tucanos and then headed up to Anniversary Inn for the night. The only bad thing about this day was that the temple was being worked on and so in all our wedding pictures there is scaffolding towers all around the temple. Oh I was so mad! But it was a beautiful day and a wonderful day that I love to look back at and remember and celebrate!
I am so grateful to be married to Kyle! He is the perfect guy for me and I think I do a pretty good job as his wife too! haha! I know there is no such thing as a perfect marriage or a perfect wife or husband, but I like to think that if you can do all that is possible for the other person, and look back at your memories and smile, it can become perfect in your eyes! I think he is my perfect guy and I am so grateful that each day he works at making our marriage as perfect for me as he can by all his little selfless acts. There has been lots of ups and some downs in these last 6 years but I love looking back at photos/reading journals/reminiscing about the things we have experienced as a couple! It seems like we were just barely married and I can't believe it has already been 6 years, but at the same time it seems like we have been together forever, (in a good way of course) because we know each other better than anyone else.
Happy Anniversary Kyle! Love you babe!

We went to Carrabas Italian restaurant that night to celebrate. I was incharge of planning how we were going to celebrate but Jantsen was sick with the flu and so that spoiled all our plans. I wanted to go to Sundance to the outdoor theatre but that fell through so we ended up only going to eat late that night. We are still planning on making it to the temple this month (we had every intention on going that day, in keeping with my goal to do it every month on the 1st) but again due to Jantsen's fever, throwing up, and every other symptom that comes with the flu, our day was alittle preoccupied with taking care of him. But it was fun and much needed to go to dinner with just the two of us. I am excited to see where this next year takes us.

Happy Anniversary!! I feel so bad that all your wedding pictures have a construction zone in the back ground! But I guess the whole point of the wonderful day was made! You've now been married for 6 years! Congratulations!

hey janel! Happy anniversary! I wanted to tell you Dylan got Jantsen's picture and he was so excited! I seriously wish you could have seen his reaction! Thanks! I wish I could do the book thing, but I am flying out to Maryland this weekend for two weeks. So I don't think I will have a chance to find people to participate. Thanks for thinking of us though!
