The End of the Visitors

Jeremy, Kristen, and Eme left this evening. They are trying the "drive all through the night" experience and we hope they drive safe! But to finish off their stay here in Omaha, we went to the Henry Doorly Zoo and, of course, Quaker Steak and Lube to eat! (Kyle went to The Lube in Pittsburg with Jeremy and Kristen a few years back, so they were excited to try it again.)(Jeremy and Jantsen crossing the rickety bridge through the waterfall. The zoo IS that COOL!)
The zoo was fun, as always. Kristen loved the aquarium, especially the water tunnel. Jeremy really liked the Jungle, and Eme she liked it all, what kid wouldn't though! It was the perfect weather, overcast with alittle breeze, we wore jackets and it made me so excited for fall weather! Anyways, I was so glad that it wasn't hot and also it was really empty, no one was at the zoo so it made for a great day to be there! I hope they had fun at our famous big zoo. Jantsen wanted to push Emerson in her stroller the WHOLE time and I was so glad that Kristen and Jeremy were patient enough and nice enough to allow Jantsen, my strong-minded and determined child, to take over the stroller duty.
(Emerson, Kambryn and Jantsen looking at the monkeys. Kristen and I can't believe how old they are getting. We want them to stay LITTLE!!)

Jantsen loved having them stay at our house, and was really sad when they drove off from the restaurant and didn't turn into our house. He told us that he wanted them to stay in Omaha for one more day. Of course tomorrow that one more day would turn into one more day after that...etc. Kambryn I am sure will miss her little playmate. While we were walking around the zoo, Kambryn and Eme would try and hold eachother's hand while in their strollers. It was so cute, but then there were times when they were touching eachother and they would give out the "ahhh she is touching me and in my space" yell...well mainly Kambryn would yell. But I am so glad that she has Eme to grow up with and have as a cousin. They are cute little trouble-makers!
We had a wonderful time having them here! We love visitors and are so glad that they planned a vacation to come to the mid-west.

Looks like you had a ton of fun! Kael was so sad that Jantsen wasn't in school! He told me he was never going back without him. I had to tell him a million times this morning that Jantsen would be there! :)
