Jantsen has been begging me for about a month to take him the zoo. Since he has school everyday and I am busy working, we haven't had a lot of free time to enjoy the good things here in Omaha. (And the Zoo is at the top of the "Good Things in Omaha" list).
After Jantsen got out of school, we headed to the zoo for a quick trip before it closed. We had to bundle up but we still had a fun time. The zoo was empty which makes it the best time to be at the zoo! The kids loved running around and spending as much time or little time as they wanted looking at each of the animals we saw today. Kambryn is now old enough that I don't have to take a stroller. It makes it much more enjoyable, for both of us!

Oh you just gotta love our little Kambryn! She loved it when her hat fell over her eyes. She ran around like a crazy woman, laughing and thinking it was great that she couldn't see!

I have been itching to go to the zoo but yeah, SO cold. So did you know Kelly that moved out here from Omaha and is there a girl named Lisa in your ward out there with brown hair and 2 kids?
I love the zoo when no one is there! I know it's crazy but I love when it start to get really cold here because I know the zoo can become my kids personal playground(that is the only reason I love the cold here:)!

ooohh we went to the zoo last week too and it was freezing! We tried to do all the indoor stuff. I am sad that the warm weather is over!! I love that Kambryn will smile and pose for pictures. She looks cute in that hat.
Kobe would love to go to the zoo, but instead of being a cool family like yourself, he was satisfied with looking at your pictures and going to the movies to watch Madigascar II. SMILE You really should win the "coolest" mom award!!!Ains
I loved going to the zoo while I was there! It seriously was so much fun. I wish that Stella had been a little older so that I didn't have to take the stoller, lucky you!

Oh my gosh, she is sooo cute. I love the hat in her face. It looks pretty cold.
Days when there's no one at the zoo are the best!! Bryce and I went one year in Omaha on like Dec. 23rd and it was awesome!! We basically had the whole zoo to ourselves!! I'm lovin' Kambryn's beanie too!
