We are a torn family when it comes to the BYU and Utah rivalry. Kyle is a die-hard Utah fan and I grew up in a "True Blue through and through" family. And today was The Big Game. We met alot of friends and fellow fans at Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. It was a mad crazy party going on there with both BYU and Utah fans (all of us are law, dental, medical, pharmacy, or physical therapy students). I think all together there was at least 60 people there. We were able to reserve the section of the restaurant that had the big screen TVs and so it turned into a big old party! Lots of yelling, high-fives, cheering, trash talking, and eating going on for the 4 hours we were there. It was a fun time and Kyle was glad the Utes killed BYU 48-24. Oh well...we'll get 'em next year Cougs!
This is the only day that we claim not be married...blue and red just don't mix that well on this day.
Kambryn, Jantsen and Rylee entertaining each other. Isn't Rylee's cheerleading outfit just the cutest. It would be even better in Blue!
The Larsens and Massons cheering on their Utah team!
The Die-Hard Utah Egbert family
Some of the fans...
More fans...
Cheering after one of the Utah touchdowns. These boys were so funny. High fives and jumping around and yelling. I tried to get a better picture to show it off. It was cute to see them all act that way!
Oh and I meant to mention (thanks Jenny for the subtle "reminder") that Saturday was also a movie day for us. Kyle wanted to spend sometime with Jantsen before the kids and I take off to Utah for Thanksgiving, so the two of them went to Madagascar 2 Saturday morning. They both liked the movie and also danced alittle bit in the movie. Jantsen came home and was singing "We like to Move It, Move It...we like to Move It!" almost the whole day. They had a fun time. And I also had a nice get-away from the kids (because I get to play single mom in Utah for 9 days). Of course the only logical get-away at this time is going and seeing TWILIGHT again!! Yes Keri, Jenny, and I went to see it again at a matinee. We met about 20 other girls from the VG at the theater (all of them were seeing it for the first time). And all I can say is that the movie was 10x better than it was the first time...and I loved it the first time too. Anyways, so we had a great day at the movies.

You forgot to mention the best part of the day..... Seeing Edward for the 2nd time- and many more to come! Oh and go Utes- Edward is a Ute fan! I like how you and Kyle wore white because you have to be neutral!!!!!
Looks like you had fun. I would normally cheer for the Utes I just can't bring myself to be BYU fan, but tonight I really wanted them to win so Utah would fall behind Boise State in the polls. Oh well it didn't work. Thats what happens when you cheer for a team you normally wouldn't GO BSU!!
Go Utes! I am sure Kyle was just out of control crazy!
I got your text but I am afraid you are asleep now but I didn't hear anything going on on Tuesday! I have school and I will be back at 5 or something. Now I am just rambling. I am sure you talked to Kristen so I will ask her!
Ha Ha Ha Great pictures of the crazy football fans. That game was insane, sorry about your Cougars, Hall was having a tough time keeping it together. Go Utes!!!!
PS Twilight was sooooo good huh? I am going to see it a 2nd time this week, I hear it's even better when you see it again.

I will send you an invitation. Tell Jenny that I want to add her too but hers is private so I can't leave a comment. Tell her to email me and I will send an invitation to her as well.
I LOVE EDWARD!!!!
How fun!! that would have been more entertaining to watch you guys then the game itself!!ha James was upset about the game too, I left and went shopping! ha can't wait to see you guys!!
Looks like fun. We should have brought the kids to the Big Game party. I thought it was a "man only" event and I made my hubby stay home ;). I'm so mean. Especially after I had my Twilight afternoon. To be honest I didn't LOVE the movie. But now that the days go by I keep thinking about it...Hmm, it got into my head! I can't wait for the next one cause I want to see MORE about Jacob!

Yeah, how about the third time, even better! What a disapointing game huh? Oh well, like you said well get em next year. Come back and lets play! Happy Thanksgiving.
I find myself a bit torn about teams... Everyone in my fam (parents included) graduated from the U- except me... However, my bro, dad, and I cheer for the Y...
Sad game huh! Wonder if they'll let Hall back in next year? :) Better luck next time
Glad you guys had fun getting together!
What a rivalry! I'm glad you and Kyle can still be friends. Scott and Katie went to see Madagascar 2 and she loved it! She thought one part was so funny that she could barely tell me about it through all of the giggling!
That was so much fun! I'm just glad that BYU's loss didn't ruin Joel's entire night. I would love to do something like that again.
Bryce and I went to Reno to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched that game too! I'm not a huge football fan but Bryce loves to watch that game every year so it was fun to go watch and eat yummy food! I'm glad to hear you loved the Twilight movie! I can't wait to see it again!
You guys....
Lots of fun to read about the rivalry. That's one experience I can't say I participated while living in Omaha. Looks like fun though.
I agree Twilight rocked! Thanks for your address!
