Kids and Traveling 101

I have been nauseously nervous about flying alone with my kids to Utah for Thanksgiving. All of my nervousness has been strictly concerning Kambryn! She is just a very active and busy child and with having to sit on my lap for the whole flight, I was so scared how she would handle being confined. Well thank goodness that Kyle gave the kids and I father's blessings before we left because my kids were great. They weren't any where close to perfect but they were definitely tolerable and pretty good. We flew during Kambryn's nap time and she was still her busy self but not whiny or noisy (those were my concerns) and I was able to keep my patience during a melt down and that is what I was thankful for. Jantsen was a big helper and was able to share his seat and his toys with Kambryn. I felt my nauseousness leave once we landed in Salt Lake. (I owe it all to Kyle and giving us wonderful and much need blessings).
Jantsen did a chance before we took off to go up into the cockpit of the airplane and talk with the co-pilot. His favorite part was when they turned on a switch that turned on all the button lights and of course getting an airplane sticker that he hasn't wanted to take off.

Jaxson and Kambryn...happy to be sitting on the floor...
We were able to spend some time with Jeannette, Dylan and Jaxson Coles. (We were both husband-less in Utah for Thanksgiving). It took Jantsen and Dylan alittle while to realize that they were buddies but they had fun playing pool and jumping off the couches together. They are cute boys. It was so good to see them all again and planned to get together after Thanksgiving.

We spent the rest of the day with Curt. My kids Absolutely LOVE their Uncle Curtis! Kambryn takes alittle time to warm up to strangers, but was instantly attached to Curt! He has been a huge help with the kids so I can get a few things done. We are heading up to Idaho for Thanksgiving. First time in about 10 years since I have been there. Thanksgivings in Filer Idaho have always been crazy and fun, we will see if the madness is still there. But so far it has been a great trip!!

Oh...and I also am getting together with my high school buddies to celebrate Angie's soon-to-be born, new little girl! We are planning on going to Chili's and then off to see Twilight! Yes it will be my 3rd time!!
