Here was our Christmas in Omaha. Both Kyle and I were so glad we spent Christmas out in Omaha this year. Of course we missed all our family and all the fun activities in Utah, but it was really nice to just have a low-key, hang out in our Pajamas all day, open our presents whenever kindof day.
Here is Kam with her goodies from Santa and from family! Thanks everyone so much! She asked for a doll, a dress and a pink purse. Well, she got 2 dolls, a doll bedroom set/stroller, a whole set of dress-up clothes and 3 pink purses. I think she was more than happy!
Jantsen was pretty excited about the race track that Santa brought him. He was spoiled this year. He really wanted a truck with 100 trailers, but I think he was happy with all the Nerf stuff, the Wii, and his Kyle Busch Nascar hat as well as all the other presents he got. Thanks Family and Santa!
Funny little story: Kambryn and I played musical beds on Christmas Eve night. I ended up in Kam's bed and she slept with Kyle in our bed. Well at about 5:30 am. Jantsen yells down from the top bunk "Kambryn, Kambryn I see Santa and I see Rudolf's red nose!" I said, "You better hurry and pretend that you are asleep or else Santa won't stop at our house." I could hear him pull his covers up over his head and he he layed there so still. Eventually I guess he fell back asleep. I think he was dreaming. haha! I was glad because I wasn't ready to start Christmas morning at 5:30 am. But the kid saw Santa and he was so happy!
Well good thing that we didn't have any where to go that day because we really were completely snowed in. Our snow drifts came half way up our front door. Thanks to our neighbor for shoveling us out just to bring us some homemade ice cream that night! We actually didn't go anywhere for about 3 straight days (they even cancelled church on Sunday).
Well we had a fun Christmas. We missed our families back in Utah but it was fun talking to everyone on the phone throughout the day!
Merry Christmas 2009
Here are some videos of the kids opening and playing with their presents during the day. Mainly for the grandparents and family to see! (I have about 5 more videos but they are taking forever to upload...but hopefully you enjoy these ones!)
(Thanks Eme for the awesome microphone. I think it was the favorite gift of the day! We heard this song on repeat for about 3 days straight! oh and watch for Jantsen's "happy skip" in the background....haha. So Funny!! )
(the kid Loves Nascar!!)
(Thanks Grandma Nana!)
(Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Graham. She LOVES her dress-ups or as she likes to say when she wants to put them on "I want to be pretty". )
(We were all excited for Jantsen to get the Wii! Thanks mom and dad!)
