Day 1. Thursday
Born at 5:38pm. Dr. Kirsch was great. Proud dad, happy mom, and amazed brother and sister. A swollen chubby baby. We love him already!
Day 2. Friday
Good sleeper. Looking more like a newborn and not a puff ball. Hair is going crazy! Mohawk and monkey arms! Kyle has already had enough of playing the single dad and driving back and forth! Kam and Jants starting to not like having mom at the hospital.
Day 3. Saturday
Going home day. Another great sleeping night for Talan. Trying to fit 3 car seats in our pathfinder. Nice and Cozy in "over-sized bear warmsuit thingie". Leaving hospital weighing 7 lbs 9 oz. Happy Family bringing their brother home!
Day 4. Sunday
No church for us. Lounged around the house. Fun having a newborn. LOVE his hair! Adorable baby! Kambryn didn't like her daddy time to be shared with a baby. Rough day for their relationship.
Day 5. Monday
First doctor's appt. Weight 7lbs 11oz. Milk does a body good. Jaundice is almost gone. Kambryn not liking her H1N1 shot. Talan STARVING. 2 crying kids. Rough one for mom. Jants and Kyle at school Christmas program. (No pics this day...lame) Back to a routine. Nice!
Day 6. Tuesday
First bath. Kambryn was a helper. Curly Curly hair when wet. So cute.
Day 7. Wednesday
Another Talan and Kambryn morning. Painted Kambryn's toes and fingernails. Such a girlie girl. Now she likes to hold her brother.
Day 8. Thursday
One week ago he entered ours lives! We absolutely adore and love this little guy! Such a blessing!

I LOVE it! Love that you kept track of the happenings on every day, LOVE his adorable hair(how cute is it curly!), and love how great you look! I am so glad we did not have babies at the same time...I can just pretend I looked as good as you do:)!
Cute Janel........This would be the only way to enjoy a January in Omaha..... (at least that is what I think :)) He really is so cute and I love how Jantsen has his hair only dirty blonde in another pic. Hope you get some kind of rest and hope you know how great you are! Good luck with all of this!!!
Thanks for the updates! I love all the videos! What a cutie! Enjoy it! I already feel like that first week was so long ago! I should have made a journal post like you did of Tayden's first week ending with losing his belly button at a gas station in Grand Junction. Sad and funny at the same time! How different our little guys lives began but we love them all the same!
I am glad that he is a good sleeper so that you are hopefully be getting some good sleep! You look great!
Congratulations! He's so adorable! Love the hair! Chase's hair was just like that...I'll have to find a pic to show ya.lol! Glad you are all doing well. Sounds like a crazy day for delivery. Whew! Love that mid-west weather.

He's so beautiful I can't even stand it. I love all the videos. Especially the first one with Kambryn and Jants. They make me laugh! Kambryn's hair is getting so long! Such a pretty girl.

oooo the hair! LOVE IT!!! it's nice to have 3 kids and yet difficult at times. but at the end of the (after they are all alseep) it is all worth it. I love being a mama to a one, two, and a three year old! Congrats!!!!
