Happy Mother's Day! I feel so blessed to have 3 amazing examples to teach me how to be a better mom. I have an amazing mother-in-law Evelyn, a wonderful example from Claudia, and I can't express in words how much an influence my mom is on me.
She is my best friend. Now that I am a mom, I now realize how much she did for me growing up, and I appreciate her advice so much! I miss you mom!

Today, my mom gets to talk to my brother that is in Argentina on his mission. She is so excited. I am excited for her. I am also excited that instead of saying "okay I will talk to you at Christmas time"...she gets to say "I will SEE you in 3 days!!!" My brother gets off his mission on Wednesday! I can't think of a better mother's day present for my mom!
My heart is so full today with love and gratitude for mothers. I feel so blessed to be a mother. What better thing in life is there than to be a mom. To have a cute, little high-pitched voice of Kambryn say "Happy Mother's Day" or to get a hand-drawn picture of flowers and a note that says "happy moth day. I hope that you lik these flowrs Love Jantsen" (all decorated with dots on the letters and all) or else a big grinned smile and head tilt from Talan when he hears my voice. I just love being a mom to these 3 sweet kids.

Happy Mothers Day Janel. What a great post. Motherhood really is the best. There is nothing like it. I can't imagine life with out these little ones. I hope you have a wonderful day. Cherish the time you have with your mom. I know how much you love her and how important she is to you in your life. Congrats on your brother coming home. I hope you enjoy your day.

Nelly! I missed you at the alumni game. I think I may retire though, I am so old! Anywho, we have not completely decided on a law school yet but are not really looking at Creighton because it is so far away. Tricky. Any news on jobs for Kyle?
