Well right now my family in Utah is getting in their car to drive up to the airport for this reason...
My brother gets off his mission today!!
I CAN NOT believe it has been 2 years!
I just wish I was in Utah and able to be at the airport to see him!
He is such an amazing brother and kid!
I love him!
So while my family gets to hang out with him....
I get to clean my house and put it up for sale.
We are moving back to Utah...at least for the summer.
Kyle will study for the bar and take it in Utah.
Then hopefully get a job...somewhere close.
Edit: So Dustin is home now! Yay, released and all. But funny story.
His flight landed 20 minutes early, so my family wasn't there when he came down the famous escalators at the SLC airport! Yeah, he had to wait at baggage claim for 10 min before anyone showed up! haha. I think he is the only missionary in history that has a family...who are FROM UTAH...and didn't have anyone there when he landed. Haha. He told some of the people in the airport that were asking if he was coming or going on a mission that 1) he had a connecting flight to Montana. or 2) He was the only member of the church in his family.
But he did make a contact with a non-member Jamaican guy while waiting for the family. Haha!!
Seriously LOVE, love, love this kid!
Can't wait until he comes out here on the 27th to help us move back to Utah!

These are the moments when you hate being at school...they are few and far between but I totally remember that same feeling! It all ends up working for the best...just believe me for now:)
i can't belive he is home! Wow that went by fast. I bet your family is loving life.
How exciting for you and your family. I'm so happy for you. That is very exciting that you get to come back to Utah. I didn't know what your plans were. I'm sure Kyle will get a job. He's such a great guy. Good luck with cleaning. Too bad Claudia can't just come do it for you!!!
I remember when he left! That is so crazy Janel.... good luck with everything..... I'm sure there are some sad sad hearts having you leave around there! No one can replace a Janel :) have fun and so sad for you to not get to be there....... but you will soon!

How funny about Dustin getting in early! Same thing happened with Jer's brother Joe but his parents did make it in time. The rest of his family including us got there about 20 minutes after! That is almost as sad as when our grandparents got home from their mission. They missed the flight but we didn't know so our whole family was there waiting for people that weren't even on the plane! Funny! Can't wait to see you guys!
funny story, my friend whis o from utah also missed her brother's home coming. Her family was 20 minlate to get the airport and his flight was 30 min early. the whol family missed it and he was waiting on the sidewalk out side the airport gate! So it is more common than you think. SInce all us mormons run on mormon time and the airport has it's own clock. :)
My uncle showed up at his house in a taxi because they had written down he was coming home the next day.
I am not commenting on the moving thing. I am still holding out hope.
