So today Kyle spent 20 minutes trying to get ahold of me. I finally was able to make it to the gym, it felt great. and I went with Natalie too...so double great! But anyways, so he finally found out where I was and so he called Natalie's phone.
After the usual "hello. how are you? What are you doing?" He said well good. I am glad you are having fun at the gym...because I have some good news. Some great news." I quickly got off the treadmill and asked well what is it? (thinking in my mind...are you here in Utah. Did you come to surprise us again...?)
Then he said... Well...(long pause. Felt like a really long pause)
then he said
"I Passed!"
Oh those 2 words have been words we have been waiting to hear for about 8 weeks! He got an email today saying the He had passed the Utah Bar Exam! He was so excited when I talked to him. I yelled and cheered in the gym for him. I got weird looks and Kyle said that I was a weirdo too. But who cares! It was great news!
Kyle is just amazing. I am so relieved that he didn't have to get bad news all by himself in KC. I wish I could be there to help celebrate with him for his huge accomplishment. (the friends in Omaha that Kyle is watching the Utah football game with today will have to party a lot for me)
But congrats to my great husband! Good work and we love you! I knew you would pass!

Congrats Kyle. I'm sure that is a relief for all of you. But, just for the record, I don't think anyone doubted that you could do it.
Congrats to you Janel for getting to the gym. Brent and I went on a 3 mile rollerblading excusion this morning. It was fun and it made me feel good for doing something active!!!
