...and a DAD!!! How can it get better than that?!
Yep that's right. Kyle was in Utah for Halloween weekend. We had a fun weekend. I love how Halloween lasts the whole week. We had so many parties and activities that we did during this week and it was so much fun that we were together as a family, something that I probably didn't appreciate as much as I should have in the past.
So for Halloween Jantsen was adamant that he was going to be Spiderman. The time has come that I no longer get to choose his costume...sad day.
Kambryn wanted to be Tinkerbell and I wasn't a huge fan of all the Tink costumes out there, so my mom and I made one. We ran into a few problems...I guess that happens when you don't use a pattern and you just make it up as you go. But I love how it turned out. And we had a lot of fun making it.
Talan was a little monkey. He is just the cutest thing ever. He wasn't a big fan on the hood thing, but we did get him to wear it for some pictures.
Kambryn had a party at her gymnastics class. I can not tell you how much she LOVES gymnastics.
This is a picture of her wonderful teacher Miss Mel (dressed up as a pink princess. Kambryn told me that she looked so beautiful!)
She then had a Halloween recital at her dance class too. They performed 4 difference dances and it was so cute! She has such a fabulous teacher who loves teaching the little girls.
We then had Jantsen's school parade. Kambryn and Talan love going to Jantsen's school, to see Jantsen but also mainly to see Grandma. I love elementary school parades. So cute!!
Then we had my nephew Tayden's 1st birthday/ Halloween party. Kristen did such a great job with the games and food and the cake...wow the cake was awesome! And of course seeing a bunch of kids all dressed up in their costumes is probably the cutest thing ever!
We painted our pumpkins this year. Kambryn wanted a witch pumpkin and Jantsen designed a pirate face for his. I thought they turned out great.
Finally it was trick or treating time. It started raining earlier in the afternoon and didn't stop until about 6pm. But I am so glad that it let up so that we could take the kids around. We made it to about 3 houses before Kambryn tripped and scraped up her knee. But she was so excited for trick or treating that a few band-aids and a treat fixed it all up and she was right back out there. Jantsen was so happy that no one knew who he was because of his mask. It was a great night and we all had a lot of fun.
Happy Halloween!

The kids looked so cute! So glad that Kyle could be there with you! Still can't believe you made Kambryn's costume! I am offically the only one not to sew in our family! And I am not planning on changing that anytime soon! I will leave that up to you more talented people! Good job!
Wow, you guys have been busy! You are a trooper to be without Kyle for so long. Glad you guys could do some fun things together.
looks fun! glad you could all be together. miss ya!
The kids look so stinkin' cute. Especially that Talan. I love Kambryns costume, great job. My boys will no longer let me pick their costumes either. They always want to be something scarier or stupid. I just have to remind myself to choose my battles. Glad you had a great Halloween and that your sweetheart could be there with you. Love and miss you!!
Nice documentation. I still love that Greg had no idea who Jants was when he was in the house and asked, "who is this kid?!"
So fun! Glad Kyle could be there, too! Think of you guys often and hope you are well! Hugs!
