We finally make it to Disneyland (part 2)

Day Four- DISNEYLAND and Kyle comes!!

Talan slept horrible that night. He was up crying the whole night. I am glad I have such amazing and caring in-laws because they saw me completely drained and almost about to have an emotional breakdown. But we pulled it all together and were off to the Magic Kingdom my 8:15am.  It was a long day but I absolutely LOVED it and so did everyone else!

 This is what Talan did almost the entire day. Sleep or just lay there...sweating because of his fever. Poor little cute dude.

 Kambryn's only thing she wanted to do was meet princesses in Disneyland. That was all she talked about. So when she finally met Ariel, she was in AWE. (truthfully I almost started crying because I was so happy and excited for her.)

 All Jantsen wanted to do was go on all the big rides. And he loved them all.  He is such a wonderful boy. He is at the perfect age. Old enough to ride on all the rides, but still young enough that it is a complete joy for him being in Disneyland. (He was a huge help to me the whole week.) But, I was so nervous that I was going to have to drag Kambryn on all the rides, but it was wonderful. She went on every ride that she could have. Thunder Mountain was her first ride, she didn't hate it but she wasn't overly thrilled either. But she did go on it a few more times. She even went on Space Mountain.  I was so proud of her. And she didn't even throw one tantrum. It was a great day!

 (I didn't take a single picture this day. Blame it on being sleep deprived or single mom to 3 kids in Disneyland or relying on my amazing SIL Kara to take all the pictures. But whatever it was, I don't have one picture of that day. So I stole them off Kara's blog. Thanks!)

That night Kyle came!! The moment I saw him when we pulled into the driveway at 9:30pm...I swear a huge load lifted off my shoulder and I already felt better.  The kids and I missed him a lot.  2 months was a long time with not seeing him...too long!

Day Five- Disneyland again and California Adventure

 Evelyn made these darling Minnie Mouses dresses for the three girls. So of course we had to see Minnie. Kam was so excited.

 Talan had a great night sleep and was 100% better this day. That is what happens when daddy comes back I guess.

 Jantsen loved California Adventure and riding the big roller coaster Screaming.  If he could have stayed on it all day he would have, He also got excited to meet Mater and Lightening McQueen.  He is such a stud!

 It was another long and hot day but of course it was wonderful.

Day Six- last day at Disneyland! (princess day for Kambryn)

Today it was all about the kids for us.
Kambryn meet as many princesses and characters as possible.
Jantsen rode all his favorite rides again and again.
Talan was happy and loved the circus train ride.
Kyle and I had so much fun hanging out and being together as a family!

Kambryn and Eme were able to learn how to dance and act like a princess.  She was able to meet Snow White, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty.
We then stood in line to meet Ariel (again), Tiana, and Cinderella. Seriously Kambryn was in heaven. Within about 30 minutes she meet all of her favorite princesses.

The only disappointment that day was when we went to meet Tinkerbell.  We stood in line later for about 40 minutes only to find out that Tinkerbell wasn't there. So lame. I think Tink was the one that Kambryn really really wanted to see. She was wearing her Tinkerbell shirt and even drew her a picture. So sad. But we did meet 2 other fairies.

 

Happy Halloween at The Magic Kingdom at 11:30pm. Jantsen was a machine! All the other kids zonked but he stayed strong! What a fun day! I love my family!!

Day Seven- The Beach
I am so glad we made it to the beach. Who doesn't love the beach?  (well besides Kambryn...she liked  it until she fell off the boogie board into the water. That is why I couldn't get a smiling picture of her) And we even got to see a huge seal lion swimming about 3 feet away from the shore.

 I love this picture. I have such cute men in my life.

Once the sun set, it quickly became pretty chilly so we brushed off and headed home for some pizza. What a fun day!

Day Eight- Travel day to go home. It was sad to say goodbye to Kyle. Kambryn and Jantsen didn't leave Kyle's side the whole vacation. I think Kyle loved it! I know I did. I am so grateful we had the chance to spend the weekend together.
I feel blessed to have a wonderful extended family that love and support us so much.  thanks Evelyn and the entire family for a great week in California! We love you!
