Just waiting, wishing, and hoping that baby #4 would come sooner rather than later.
During this waiting time, as a family we tried to squeeze in some last minute fun, while also taking advantage of the gorgeous weather we were having out here in Kansas City!
I love the Fall!!
Here are some fun things we did:
*Miniature Golfing*
The weather was gorgeous this evening
and we all had so much fun golfing!
My cute family.
I am one lucky girl!
Brotherly Love...or more like "Little Brother do what I do!"
Always posing and always having a skirt on.
Talan wasn't much into golfing with a club.
He just threw his ball down the green and
eventually dropped it in each hole.
With a pond being there, Kyle and I both thought his ball
was a goner, but nope he did a great job of staying contained in
the putting green!
Jantsen was so excited when he got
his HOLE in ONE!
Here I am in all my glory.
Waddling around, trying to putt with a golf club,
and I won't even mention the struggle
with getting the ball out of the hole.
Luckily Talan was around to assist me!
"POPS" Came to Visit
Grandpa Graham had a business trip in St. Louis
and he extended his trip a few more days and spent some time in Kansas City with us.
(We were hoping the baby would be born when he was here. Stubborn little baby!)
All my kids were so excited to have Grandpa come.
Talan especially warmed right up to him.
Instead of calling him the normal "Grandpa" or "Pappa"
he shortened it to "Pops".
So every morning, Talan would wake up, toddle downstairs to my dad's room
and yell "Pops" over and over until he found my dad.
It was so funny and I know my dad loved it!
We of course had to stop at one
of my kids' favorite spots.
The Animal Reserve.
We even were able to feed the buffalo this time,
usually we only see the elk.
My dad was a huge help to me during the days I
was completely exhausted.
One time after falling asleep on my bed, I woke up
to my dad, Kambryn, and Talan all in the kitchen eating
Graham Crackers and milk.
That brings back so many memories of my childhood.
I am glad that he is passing on the traditional snack
of the Graham Household to my kids.
It is now one of my kids' most favorite things to eat.
I hope it will always remind them of Grandpa Graham, because
that snack always reminds me of him!
We went bowling!
(again trying to do things to get this baby to come!)
BOWLING (+) PIZZA =
HEAVEN FOR THE KIDS
(as well as a fun night for the adults too)
While my dad was still in town, we were joined by my mom!
Grandma comes to Visit too!
My mom came in on Saturday afternoon and we spent the
day at soccer games and then eating some good BBQ food.
Sunday we went to Liberty Jail (without Kyle though, he had church
meetings all morning)
I always love going to visit Liberty Jail. I love the spirit there
and I love learning more about the prophet Joseph Smith.
My dad left early Monday morning but my mom
stayed for the rest of the week!
The whole week we were doing EVERYTHING to try and get
this baby to want to come.
We went walking, we scrubbed my entire house, we walked stairs,
I had my membranes stripped, we went shopping, I ran up and down the stairs,
we ate spicy foods, we went on a really bumpy hayride,
SERIOUSLY we tried EVERYTHING!
(except caster oil...my mom refused to let me drink that)
But even though there was no baby born while she was here
we still managed to have a great time.
I think she liked having the break from her stressful life too.
I just wish she could have stayed longer.
Here are some pictures of the week:
Kambryn and Jantsen both had their end of the season soccer parties.
No pictures of Jantsen's party unfortunately.
::Halloween Costume Shopping::
(pictures to come soon)
I need them from my mom's phone!
::Evening at the Pumpkin Patch::
Not that great of a pumpkin patch (but hard to compare anything to Vala's in Omaha)
But the hayride wasn't too shabby!
*Crazy Crazy Crazy*
We were sad when Saturday came and we had to take Grandma to the
airport. My kids loved being spoiled and having both Grandma and Grandpa here for a week and a half!
We Love our Family!
The last adventure we had as a family was doing
*Halloween stuff*
Carving pumpkins
Elementary school costume parade
*BATMAN*
Preschool costume parade
*KITTY CAT*
We have had a busy October.
I can't believe it is already Halloween!
But we are having a blast and loving life right now!
