I know that it has been a week since I have last put something up here on my blog, but it really has been a busy week, and actually I haven't really had the motivation to post lately. I think it is because I feel that all I have been posting about are daily activities that really have no deep thought to it. So I just felt bored with what I was writing. Anyways, needless to say, I'm back and ready to put some pictures up, with still not much deep thought to it.
Well here are a few highlights of what went on this last week.

1. So I have said that Kambryn has started walking, well she is still there, but I think since Sunday, Kyle and I tried to make her walk everyday and I think that she is sick of it. So she has reverted back to speed-demon crawling, and only holding on to our fingers and walk around. She will still take a few steps (but she isn't to excited about it, she can pull a full squat down and back up to a balance but the steps on her own have diminished) I think this is a tally mark next to the "over-pushy parents" title.
Her favorite thing is going UP the stairs, and I mean she LOVES it!! I need to invest in a gate or just try to teach her to go down the stairs.

She usually makes it up the stairs and then pounds on the wood at the top and yells until someone comes to see where she is. I think it is her way of letting us know "Hey, in case you were unaware, I am the top of these steep stairs and I am right on the edge, and if you don't come get me, I might fall." This is her not happy that she can't get down the stairs and no it doesn't have to do with the fact that I am in her face taking pictures.

2. We spent another day at the Children's Museum. We went with the Coles' and the Bailey's. I just love having such wonderful girls that are so fun to hang around with and plus it doesn't hurt that their kids are my kids' friends! It pays to live here. I LOVE it!!
Anyways, despite my fear of the dirty, gross filthy floor at the museum, I sucked it up and let Kambryn finally crawl around the "Big Kid" area and dirty herself up. (usually she is confined to the stroller or the kiddie play area for infants.) Nevertheless, she had sooo much fun cruising around chasing plastic balls all over the place, acting like she owned the area.
Jantsen experienced something new as well. He found out that about every 5 minutes or so,a siren went off indicating that all the plastic balls that have been collected were about to be dumped out from a basket on the ceiling and if he stood under it they would fall on his head. Oh he thought it was just the neatest and funniest thing that he had ever experience. After the first time the 50 little balls pour down on his head, him and Dylan had to sprint from all ends of the museum in order to be directly under the raining of balls everytime that siren went off. I only got the end of one of the episodes but at least it gives you an idea of how totally into the whole pouring out of the balls he was and then collecting them (this time only the yellow balls) inorder to be ready to do it all over again. I really think it is kindof like the Pavlov's dog experiement you learn about in psychology, but instead of Jim Halper giving Dwight an altoid (for all those Office fans), the siren sounds and kids just run in complete mayhem! (okay so not the best example but it made sense to me...in a way!)
3. Kyle has his spring break this coming week. We are all really excited that he gets a break from school. Notice that I said break from school, not just break period. I have decided that our kitchen here are Village Green needs alittle updating and so I am putting him to work on his break. I know I am a mean wife, but we (I) love doing home improvements and we (I) really can't wait for our kitchen to look different. We are painting the kitchen, adding a ceiling fan over our table, putting down pergo wood floors, and then adding a few other accessories to just tie it all together. I really cannot wait for this week to be over and I know it will look great. We already started with the home improvements. Kyle and Jantsen (I have Ty Pennington and Bob the builder in my home) installed our ceiling fan last night and it really looks GREAT!!! Here are some pictures of my little worker men and their tools.
Well I will put some pictures of what our kitchen looks like when we are through. I am hoping by Wednesday/Thursday we will be all done! And Dustin is coming to visit on Thursday-Tuesday and we can't wait!! We love Uncle Dustin and are so excited for the fun activities this next week has in store!!
Also my bestest friend ever Buffy Dayton had her 3rd kid on Thursday. She had her little girl Mia Dayton and I am so excited for her and I just love you to death Buffy! Congrats and good luck with 3 kids now. Wowie, you are wonder woman!! I am excited to see you and her when I come out to visit in April!!

I'm glad you are back to posting! I missed them. I loved the video of Kambryn crawling. Cracked me up! Anyways, we signed on a house so that was kinda scary, but you have to do it sometime in life. So now we have a place for you guys to stay when you want to come and visit us(hint, hint)!
Finally! Just kidding...I get to see you guys in just over a month! Exciting!
This is what life is made of...kids, entertaining kids, home remodeling and siblings coming to visit...Wow! I think we are living the same life...can I copy and paste your blog?
What you must understand is that we all love to read about the day to day stuff because it's exactly what we're experiencing!
I've missed ya! Emerson really needs some coaching from Kambryn on how to crawl. She still doesn't get it. She would rather just be up on all fours than move forward. Oh, and she has mastered going backwards which makes her really mad sometimes when what she whats is in front of her. Silly, girl! I am excited to see the pictures of the house when you get it done. I didn't know you were coming in April. When and how long?
it's amazing just what a new ceiling fan can do. that's one of the first things we changed as well
