I love the weather we are having here. Yesterday it was 80 degrees and very little humidity. Perfect!! We were able to take advantage of the great weather. Tuesday night Kyle has one of his business classes from 6-9:30pm and he also had to meet with a small group at 4:00 so there wasn't enough time for him to make it home for dinner and to see the kids that day. (If you think of it, he leaves at 7:00 am before the kids get up, is at school until usually 4:30pm and then has to go back to school for his 6:00 class and then gets home after the kids go to bed. So in about 24 hours he sees them for usually about 1 hour that day. I guess not having class on Friday makes up it. He is a busy guy this semester) Anyways, we met him at Conagra Park for a picnic, some family time and to feed the ducks. It was great. Sitting on a blanket in a shade, with our little paper products and picnic food. Classic picnic style.
Jantsen was so excited when the duck would eat 'his' piece of bread so he obviously wanted to get as close as he could to make sure they all got enough to eat. Well then it would frustrate them that the closer he got to the duck, the faster the duck would waddle away from him. He had a hard time understanding that the duck was afraid of him and when he would run up close to them, they would waddle away. But to him, he wasn't scary, all he wanted to do was give them food. Simple enough right?! Each time Kambryn threw the cracker or bread piece into the lake she would let out a big "WAAOOW" she exaggerates her wow's. He was more into the fish that would jump out of the water and eat her piece then if the ducks did.
I am enjoying this great weather right now but I am sure it won't last too long. Winter is coming, and with that it means ice storms and cold, with only alittle bit of snow. But for now we are enjoying this 'fall' weather.

Cute cute kids. Yes Jen came to the State fair. No news or anything but they are hanging out a lot and all the time together is what we know!

That sounds like a fun little picnic! I went days sometimes without seeing Bryce at all but it has got to be really hard with kids! It will get better...and soon it will be all over!:)
I'm glad you are enjoying some good weather. It's nice to get in a little more nice weather before winter hits. I love fall! I'm already excited for all of the holidays coming up. And your kids are the cutest Janel! We miss you guys!
I've been trying to spend LOTS of time outside too. It's so beautiful right now!
How fun! I hate that our kids never get to see their dads but we are praying that by the time our kids can remember it, their dad will be around a little more often! Good news is we all live in the good old VG and are getting thru it together!
