Way too Behind!

Things are busy! But when are they not with 2 kids, a husband in school (with a 20 page paper due today), working close to 20 hours a week, trying to entertain kids, making food, cleaning messes, and also getting ready to drive to Utah for Kyle's fall break!!! YAY! We really are looking forward to this break. Spending a week in Park City, going wedding dress shopping with Natalie, seeing the twins Adam and Abby (and the rest of the family), and no stress from school are a few things that are keeping us sane here in Omaha.
I have alot of pictures and videos to share for an update of this last week. I hate getting behind, but I know I have to get caught up before we head to Utah or else I will get WAY too overwhelmed with what to blog. So here goes the list: (okay so I didn't get the pictures uploaded and I am already in Utah. Having a blast at the Mountainside Resort in Park City)
Here is the update!

Jantsen, Kambyrn and Kaydee Stanley at the soccer game reading books. At least they were entertained!

We finally had time to make it to a Creighton Men's soccer game. We actually went to two games in a week and went with Adam and Lisa Stanley and their 2 cute kids to both of the games. I love having great friends here that enjoy the same things we do. (Even if sometimes we get stranded at Sonic and call for help...ha) It was such a fun time. The first game wasn't too crowded at all, so our kids had pretty much a whole area to themselves to just run around. Creighton's soccer team is really good this year and is ranked 3rd in the nation. Pretty exciting to see such a great team play! Go JAYS!! (At one of the games, we were told it is better to just say Go Jays, instead of the whole thing Blue Jays)

New Pedestrian Bridge

Full suspension bridge over the Missouri River

Ever since Jantsen learned to ride a 2 wheeler, he is constantly on it. Once he is done eating breakfast and dressed, he is out the door riding it all over our complex. I finally get him to come in and eat some lunch about 10 minutes before he has to go to school. The second he gets out of the car after school, he always says "I want to ride my big bike." And off he goes until it is time to eat dinner, even then he still is begging to ride it again after dinner. With his love of running and now biking, he might be a little triathlete one day!

Well anyways, a new suspension bridge was just built over the Missouri river that is only for pedestrians. We have wanted to bike down by the river and now that they have this bridge, it made for the perfect place for alittle family bike ride. We hauled the 3 bikes and a bike trailer down to the start of a riverfront trail and started a fun morning of biking! We started on the Nebraska side and biked over the bridge and into Iowa. There are biking and running paths everywhere! We took one trail along the river and biked for alittle while and then turned around and went rode back. I think all together we biked about 3.5 miles. Kyle and I were pretty impressed that Jantsen was doing an awesome job staying right up with us. Kambryn loves the bike buggy! I was totally loving biking with my family and I know Kyle was having a great time too! It was a fun morning bike ride!

This one is just a random video of this last week:

Jantsen bustin' a move!

One day I was playing around with the kids and listening to music before we headed out to do some things. Kambryn started dancing doing some sort of "Booty Dance" and I was laughing so hard that I forgot to record it. By the time I grabbed my camera, Jantsen had come in and taken over with his "Micheal Jackson move". I have NO idea where he learned this one! The look on his face cracks me up.

Don't you hate getting behind on your blogging. I get stressed too, especially after a long, fun, picture-filled vacation! I'm glad you guys are having fun in Utah!

Yeah, you always say you are going to post a lot of pics when you get behind, but I never see them! Just kidding. I know how it is to be quite a bit behind. By the way, I need your new #. Love ya!

So funny thing...my mom and I were in Omaha this last week. I have family out in Omaha and we came from Thurs-Mon (today). I kept wondering as we were around where you guys live. Then to find out you were here in Utah!

Lexi is going to be Ariel and Hannah is going to be Cinderella. The costumes are pretty funny because I got wigs too, they look so funny! Lexi is obsessed with Ariel and calls herself that at school, so of course she wants to be that. And I thought if Lexi was going to be a princess we might as well go with the princess theme this year. I saw a princess wig for dogs at Target today and was really close to buying it for Lola, maybe I still will!! What are your kids being?? Oh and what are you and Kyle being? Keri said you and her were doing a party!
