"Best Friend Uncle Curt"

Yesterday was my brother Curtis' 25th birthday! There is so much I can say about him. He is about 22 months younger than me and I love being so close to him. I started getting really close to Curtis when I was in 9th grade and he was in 7th. That was during the time that my parents moved and we had to switch Junior High schools...oh those good old days. I convinced him to perm his hair... haha. Anyways, we had a great time the years we went to Junior High and High School together. He never was one of those annoying little brothers that you never wanted to hang out with. He was such a cool kid and everyone liked being around him. I remember the days when we use to go out at night and after we each checked in with my parents, he would come to my room or I would go to his and we would talk about what we did that night. We would stay up talking for awhile and then fall asleep in each others beds. Those were some great memories.

He has a way about him that he makes you feel important and loved. One year while I was at ISU, I called to wish him a Happy Birthday and I said "so what do you want for your birthday." And his answer was "I want my sister to come home for my birthday" and he said it like he totally meant it (and I like to think that he did). I almost cried. What 18 year old brother says that to his older sister. Of course we had plenty of disagreements and fights, just like any other brother and sister, but we sure had some good times!

Curt is a great brother and uncle. My kids absolutely LOVE Curt. (Pretty much any kid that comes into contact with him absolutely adore him.) Jantsen says that Curt is his best friend and Jantsen is attached to his hip when we are in Utah. Curt is a wonderful example and an amazing brother, uncle, and friend. Happy Birthday Curtis! We love you!!

okay I should have known you would have posted like 5 times since halloween but I've been so busy... I cannot read all that! But, you look like you've been having a good kind of busy life! The kids looked awesome for Halloween! Isn't halloween awesome while at school and living in VG?! You looked great to, loved the blue wig!

That's fun that you're so close to your brother. I hope my kids grow up like that. We're getting hit with the cold weather here too, and even some snow once in a while. Brr! SO...my pregnancy is going well. I haven't posted anything on my blog lately about it because I hate pictures of myself, especially as I am getting bigger every day! I'm not sick anymore, which is super nice. Next week is my 20 week ultrasound. I'm anxious to see that all is well with the baby. Being my 3rd pregnancy, it's going by so quickly. I keep putting off thinking of names, especially now that we're not finding out the gender and we'll have to think of a boy and a girl name. Sounds like you guys are doing great! It's always good to hear from you!
