For the past 2 years, we have been planning a trip to Disneyland with Kyle's mom and family. And finally the vacation has come! There was so many fun things that we did, and so many pictures that we took, and Kyle was even able to be with us for 4 days...oh happy day!! I will have to post more about Disneyland next time.
But here is a little picture of the fun Kambryn was able to have...meeting princesses!! (I almost cried the first time she met Arial...I was so happy for her!)
Then 3 days after we flew home from California, Talan and I flew out to Washington DC to spend the weekend with Kyle. He is out there for his work (a training conference for 4 weeks) and so his company paid for me to fly out and visit. We have had such a fun time. I love my kids and everything, but it has been great just hanging out with Kyle. (I kind of wish Talan was alittle older so I could have left him at home too.) Lucky for us, he is such a good and easy baby so it hasn't been bad at all.
We have had so much fun sight seeing, eating at nice restaurants, and just hanging out and enjoying being with each other. It sure is wonderful to be with my husband again. I told Kyle that we need a vacation once a year for just us! I am already getting excited for next year's vacation...New York, Mexico, Europe...so many fun places I want to go with Kyle. But this trip to DC has been amazing. We love it out here. It is gorgeous, the weather has been perfect. So much fun! And I feel so patriotic being out here too. I am almost ready for the 4th of July to be here!! Red White and Blue and Fireworks. DC would be an awesome place to be for the 4th. WOW I can only imagine!
Anyways, I fly home tomorrow. I am excited to see Jantsen and Kambryn. Thanks to the Stout's and the Graham's for taking care of them for a few days. I am sure they will both be sad when I come home and they have to go back to normal schedules and not hanging out with their cousins all day. But I get enjoy one more night and day with just Kyle. We are visiting Baltimore before I fly out tomorrow evening. I can't wait to see the Atlantic Ocean and hang out on the Pier.

All these vacations! That's awesome. I love DC too. Glad you got a few days of not being a single mother.
I'm so glad that you got to be with your husband. I'm jealous!! You really deserve it though, I know it's been a hard couple of months being a single parent. Hope you have a safe flight home.

we too had a great weekend, maybe just as much fun as you had:) parker was in heaven and asked if jants could come back today! ha. guess we'll come visit soon!
Oh, and I have been in DC on the Fourth and nothing will ever top it.
D.C is awesome on the 4th. I have done it before and it is way too fun.
