Let's Rewind...

November 1st we played outside.  It was gorgeous weather.
Kyle had the day off because of 2 week PAID paternity leave. (I love his company!)
So we spent the afternoon flying a kite. I thought that there would be a problem with sharing. (Having only one kite and two active, independent, and stubborn children)
But everything went well with the sharing and excitement of flying the kite.

Everything went well until the kite and the wooded creek area found each other.
I was laughing so hard watching Kyle and Jantsen try everything possible to save our dollar store kite.
I wish I had my video camera.
It is too hard to describe with words what exactly happen.
All I can remember is Kyle's hand and Jantsen's bum, both faces straining to reach up higher,
a search for a really long stick, Jantsen getting tired of trying to get it,
so then all three kids sat on the hill while their determined dad saved the kite!
I really wish I had my camera. It was Hilarious!
I can't remember how long it took but alas, the kite was freed from the trees.
But not without some sacrifice.

We lost the tail to the kite and there was a small tear on the kite itself.

We were wondering if it would ever fly again...

And It Did!

Jantsen and Kyle were jumping for joy!
The $1 "Bumble Bee" Kite had been saved and was flying again!

Jantsen was having so much fun jumping with Kyle that he didn't want to stop.

And then of course Kambryn had to join in!
