Talan "Monster" Smith

Talan's middle name is Mark...but we like to call him "Our Monster".  

They both start with "M" so I guess it works.

Anyways, Today is his birthday. He is 2. And we absolutely love this little man!

He is crazy, hilarious, somewhat weird, so cuddly, a daddy's boy...everything... all wrapped up into one cute little 2 year old that we all can't get enough of.

Stats:

Weight- 28lbs 4 oz (54%)

Height- 35.75 (84%)

He loves to:

• put buckets on his head
• eat lotion (okay it was a one time thing, but if Kyle wouldn't have stopped him, he would have kept eating it)
• get his groove on to any Pitbull song
• play in the bathroom (flush toilets, wad up toilet paper and blow his nose, even dip his toothbrush in the toilet)
• color (his is really intense when he colors)
• sing in the car with mom
• sleep in the big boy bed (bottom bunk) such an easy transition!
• slide on his knees anywhere!
• kick, throw, catch a ball...he is so coordinated
• make funny faces
• hit, pinch, and scratch people, especially Jantsen and Kambryn (he is a little stinker sometimes!)
• grab dad's cheeks and plant a big kiss right on the lips
•  play with Thomas the Train, McQueen, Toy Story stuff
• wear his Superman shirt and Woody shirt and Spiderman pj's
• eat hot dogs and strawberries and muffins

Those are just a few things that Talan is doing right now.  He is such a great kid, we love his personality and his charm. He can pretty much charm anyone!  He is so fun to be around, even when he is playing in the toilet it is hard not to smile at him.  I really don't think he knows any better.  But I can't believe how much older he is seeming each day. Since Bodie was born and he wasn't the "baby" anymore, these last few months he has just grown up so much!  I think I Talan will be so much fun as a 2 year old. I can't wait!

 (My sis-in-law took most of these pictures last summer so he was about 20 months. But I will count it as his 2 year pictures. Kara is amazing!)
